Summary:

This arc is named so because Ichigo and his friends travel to Hueco Mundo to rescue Inoue. Please leave a comment if you're interested in the small filler arc (the Team Hitsugaya Filler Arc) that comes between this one and the previous arc (the Arrancar Arc).

After the captains who betrayed Soul Society defect, they go to Hueco Mundo to create arrancar - hollows with powers like a shinigami. They succeed in creating many, many arrancar, but the ones that are the most dangerous are the Espada. Nevertheless, Ichigo, Chad, and Ishida don't let that stop them from traveling to the world of the hollows to bring Inoue back safely. Renji and Rukia join them, despite the strict orders they were given not to go...
