The Black Atlantic is an acoustic indie pop band from the Netherlands. After touring internationally for two years without a full-length in their pockets, The Black Atlantic entered the international recording project 'In A Cabin With' late 2008. They travelled all the way to Saranac Lake (NY) in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains to lock themselves up and start recording this very special debut.

Some special guests on 'Reverence for Fallen Trees' are the Brooklyn based The Antlers and Kim Janssen who joined the band a little before recording started.

Beep! Beep! Back up the Truck is the first Dutch record label to distribute their complete discography for free under a Creative Commons licence. By using this licence all of our releases can be fully streamed and downloaded for free online, as it should be!

Still, our main focus is releasing and promoting hardcopy albums. Since our digital stuff is free we put a lot of effort in creating beautiful artwork which you can show off to your friends.
